"Kelp Forest"- the batt was from SweetPea Fibers. It turned out to be about 48 yards.

"Viva La Burlesque" 1.5 oz of fiber from Loop. I plied it with Rowan Shimmer- ended up being 75 yards.

AND- "A Complex Love"- kool-aid dyed mill ends wool spun with beads, ribbon, and tried my hand at cocoons:

They are all gorgeous, but I really love the last two!
The last one is my fave. Ab fab.
I want to learn how to spin stuff like this. I have only just started spinning and have a little spindle, not sure if you can even ply with a spindle or how. Did you learn somewhere or is it all just experimentation?
